The medication that is often prescribed for those with FMS and sleep is Ambien. However, I worked for a doctor for a number of yrs and never heard him ever mention about not getting up in the night to urinate. Most of us with FMS are over 35, probably over 40, and rarely would you hear of a woman that doesn't get up in the night to urinate. What are you supposed to do, "hold it all night?" If I were you I would get a second opinion. What was the doc's reasoning for not getting up in the night to urinate?
