I, too, have Fibromyalgia and it is a very painful condition. One of the major symptoms of it is sleep disorder and it is vital that you get a good night's sleep to help the pain and fatigue. I don't understand your Dr. telling you not to even get up to urinate unless it is because once you get awake enough to go to the bathroom then it is difficult to go back to sleep. My Dr. prescribes Ambien for me and I don't even wake up all night now. Before I began taking this drug I only slept around 2 to 3 hrs. a night and this is the worst thing that can happen with this condition. Without proper sleep you will feel much worse. What medication did he give you? Let me hear from you. I have lived with this condition for 15 yrs. and I understand how you feel. Martie
