You have the #1 hospital in the USA in nearby Baltimore-Johns Hopkins Univ Hospital, and you can call the Dept of Rheumatology and ask for the name of a Rheumatologist who works with Fibromyalgia. In Washington DC area (Bethesda, MD closet to you, or Rockville)are the excellent Pain Management Clinics of the National Rehab Hosp. They also work with Fibromyalgia. I have a very good Rheumatologist in Wash DC who could refer you to someone at Johns Hopkins, if still can't find someone. A Pain Management Clinic is a wonderful resource-a multi-disciplinary approach that helps me out of my flare-ups. And insurance even pays for it, except for Accupuncture. Actually many are beginning to pay for that as well.
