Sidney Curran
I have sruggleged with acute insomnia for years, with physicians telling me, that it never killed anyone to go without sleep and that when you were tired enough you would sleep. Finally after years of going sometimes up to 5-6 days without sleeping, I went to a sleep clinic where I was put on a sleeping medication, a benzodiazapine, Dalmane. Now my life has changed, yet I still suffer from all the damage that sleep deprivation had done to my body.Too bad doctors dont know their medical facts and how damaging it can be.I was totally incapacitated and could not function. I am a mental health counselor and still run into problems finding a doctor that will prescribe it. The sleep clinic in Seattle told me to find a sleep-friendly physician, which I have.Sidney in Seattle Herbs did not work for me and wont for anyone with true, acute insomnia.
