My gallbladder was removed in October of 1996. My gallbladder was non-functioning. Sluge they said. The pain that I had was not as severe as the pain that I suffer from today. I have severe chest pains from the middle to the right side of my chest. They wake me up in my sleep. They last from 15 minutes to just over an hour. Most of them last about 45 minutes. They leave me in tears or screaming. I have no idea of what to do. I have been back to the Doctor but they want to blame this type of pain on Fibromyalgia! This has nothing to do with Fibromyalgia. I don't believe I have Fibromyalgia. The symptoms just don't all match. Could I have some kind of lung or heart problem? Has anyone had extremely severe chest pains after they have had their gallbladder removed? I get really sick to my stomach with these pains to. Has anyone got tiny clips or clamps in their chest after having this surgery? I do, and they are holding something together, but I don't know what. I also have calcifications in my lungs.
