I had this procedure done a few years ago and it was the best thing I spent my money on. Make sure you have a good doctor. Do some research. There is no pain. You may have a slight discomfort and want to "itch" your eyes. It is wonderful to see without glasses or contacts. With the new procedures, I do not believe there is the chance of losing your vision. Of course, everyone is different, but with a good surgeon, the chances are miminal. My niece was office manager for one of the pioneers in this field, so I was very confortable have the procedure done. Good luck. You will be very happy with the outcome.
