Blocked arteries in the legs usually indicates Intermittant Claudication. For several years I had pain in my calves when I walked any distance. It progressively grew more painful. Last year a nurse practioner insisted I take a stress test. Three minutes on a treadmill and I was in a wheelchair being rushed to the cardiac wing. A cardiac catherization showed four blocked arteries to the heart and an aorta abdominal aneurysm. I had a quadruple heart bypass last May and two surgeries for the aneurysm. I still have problems with my legs but am on cardiac rehab 3x a week with instructions to walk every day to try to build up the arteries in the legs. My surgeon is a Vascular surgeon who specializes in circulation problems. I see him in two weeks for a three month follow up. Pain in the legs is a formidable warning sign. If my problems hadn't been discovered, I could have had very serious consequences. Have it checked out. Kay
