I have had meniere's in my left ear since 93. It took the doctors almost two yrs to find out what was wrong. By the time they found out I was having severe vertigo almost everyday. I had to have surgery. They cut the balance nerve in my left ear and I thought it was a miracle. (even though I lost my hearing in that ear)I didn't have any dizzy spells for almost 8 yrs. Then a few months ago I began feeling light headed and my balance was off. I went to the doctor and of course they kind of brushed me off as having allergies. Then I thought I would go back to my surgeon (the one that finally dianosised me the first time for meniere's) sure enough the diesease have moved to the other ear as well. I am on medication right now. I am not sure what is in my future. No one can know how bad you feel except someone that has went through it. I would love to talk about it to anyone that would listen. I need help too. Thanks Rhonda
