My son is age 24 and also has shaky hands. He is studying computer animation. I noticed mild shaking when he was 5 years old. In this last year it has gotten quite bad and he is embarrassed to be in a social setting, but he still tries to go. He also has an anxiety disorder. This is partly due to the fact that he has been in the hospital a lot because he has an immunity disorder (CGD). It would be good to coorespond with you. cgda@socal.rr.com My son's name is Erik. He has not seen a neurologist yet, but we're reading a lot right now. From what I've learned, there are medicines that can help with the shaky hands and/or helping with your anxiety. Also, there is surgery. In Erik's case, he was just on a large dose of prednisone as he also has asthma. At the same time he took Megace, an appetite stimulant. I believe the combination of these two drugs possibly caused his shakiness to increase. Please e-mail us. Mary
