I have a L3-4,L4-5, & L5-S1 herniated disc and I live in pain. This is a work related injury that was diagnosed accurately after 7 months (initally told a sprain). I have tried PT including aquatic therapy, am currently under chiropractic care, and have the power of authority given to me to decide on a less invasive procedure called IDET -Intradiscal Electrothermal Therapy/Treatment. It will now be a year and I am only 28 years of age. You may be able to put yourself in my shoes or give me some advice on how I can start to live again. I recently went to the ER due to intense ear pain. I never had an ear infection. I was given this diagnosis, antibiotics, and painkillers and shown to the door. Sure enough my pain is still occuring - my chiro told me is was due to overcompensation secondary to lower back injury.Help? What should I do?
