Those small chunks are dead white blood cells. White blood cells gang up on invaders in your bloodstream. They surround the invader and destroy it. The chunks coming out of your tonsils are the final stage of this process. It means you immune system is working as it's supposed to. You're problem is that it's working too much. I suspect you're eating more sugar than you should be. Cut down on the sugar for a few days. Eat only about 50 grams of sugar a day - which is about 1 snickers bar, 1 piece of fruit and a few cookies. Sugar suppresses the immune system which lets the invaders get the upper hand, which then eventually causes these white chunks and bad breath. Keep tabs on your own tonsils by looking in the mirror. You can usually spit out the chunks, thereby at least getting rid of them for the short term.
