Dear Becky, I understand what you are going through. I have the exact same thing and don't know exactly what they are. I was told by a specialist that they are minor benign salivary glands but I don't buy that. It could be food allergies, I'm not sure. If you find out what it is let me know. They are not mouth ulcers because those would be painful, they are not cold sores or canker sores so I'm in the same boat you are in. Deb
