I had my gallbladder out 4 years ago (March 1997) and then suddenly out of the blue on February 13, 2001 I had a vicious attack reminiscent of the gallbaldder attacks. I have now been having these attacks on a regular basis (some are not as severe, but they are all painful and debilitating). I feel a huge pressure - almost like something pushing on my insides from the upper right side of my body. Just where my rib cage starts is where the pain is usually centered but it does go around to my back. I had an Ultrasound and Stomach Xray done which revealed nothing but a small hernia. I had an MRI done 2 weeks ago and still haven't heard. If anyone has any ideas or has experienced this pain before - please contact me. THank you.
