Sounds like it. I have had it for years and best way to control it is to eat small amounts of protein every 2 to 2 1/2 hours while you are awake. This helps keep you blood sugar more consistant. No sugars and limit carbs unless you eat it with protein or fat. Fat is good in some cases.
