My wife's Fibromyelga

My wife was diagnosed with the above diesease about 3-4 years ago.A neurologist was the one who diagnosed her. Her body as a rule aches alot but most of the time she can stand it. Now as of last week she has not been able to go to work because the pain is to great. She says her knees, elbows, kidneys, ribs and most mussels ache very bad (she weighs 180lbs if this inforamtion helps). Four days ago we went to her general doctor and he kind of had the attitude that there was nothing wrong with her, since nothing showed up with his check up. She did have her blood checked and that came back OK. He scheduled her with a rumatitus specialist, which the earliest she could get in was late June (3-Months). He precribed her with perkaset and some mussel relaxer for the time being. She seems to always sleep and does not eat much (she is 35 years old). She has always been very out going and has alway went to work, even when she has had the flu. My wife says that one of the things that this diasese is doing is making her so she cannot think properly. We did get her a earlier appointment in a differant town which is next Friday (3-30-01)to see a differant rumititus specialist. Please help, can you think of other things we should be doing? Does this sound like Fibromyelga to you. Thanks for all of your inputs. Ken Fladd (desperate for answers)
