Patty, I have had 2 cervical fusions in 15 months. The last one being 3 weeks ago. The first on c4-5 was ruptured and the last on was c6-7. I know the pain you are going thru. It's indescribable. Please be aware that surgery is not a cure-all. It takes away the majority of the pain but whenever the weather changes you will have that pain again but not as bad. I was very fortunate that I only had to wait a few weeks to have surgery after the pain began. My thought and prayers are with you. Julie
