I recently had a stenosis operation lower lumbar. Turns out I did not need that operation,so now I have spondylolisthesis, which my Dr.(2nd one) says it is because the 1st surgeon took away too much bone, so it makes mybones in that area float against each other. I need disk fusion now to correct what that idiot did to my spine. floating, as i understand it, just means that there is too much room and the bones move more than they should, called floating. Talk to your Dr., or better yet, get a 2nd opinion before any spine surgery.
