Please help anyone. I have been in and out of emergency rooms and back and forth to my primary care doctor only to be told I have contact dermatitus. I work in construction and where work boots. Every so often my feet start to become very itchy, red and blisters form on the top of my foot and ankles.I was told the first time by my doctor that I was probably allergic to my boots. He advised me to get a new pair of boots-did that-didn't work. Needless to say, I went to the emergency room the other eveing only to be sent home with mild antibiotics and silver sulfadine cream. Nothing seems to works. Only one time did a physician state to me that I may have had cellulitus and he really did not seem too concerned on how to treat it. Does anyone have any suggestions for me or advice? I have seen from previous postings that many people have gone to see infectious disease specialists. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
